Wellington Crescent Walk Bike Project - Interim Solution
In the spring of 2026, we’re planning to build temporary bike lanes on Wellington Crescent, between Academy Road (south of Maryland Bridge) and Stradbrook Avenue.
This project is about making Wellington Crescent safer and more comfortable for people walking and biking. It will also fill an important gap in our cycling network.
The design for the temporary bike lanes includes some changes to driving lanes, parking, and traffic flow. We know change can bring questions and concerns. That’s why we’re asking people who live along the route to tell us how our design for the temporary bike lanes might affect them. We’re especially interested in things like loading, deliveries, accessibility, building access, and safety.
Your input will help us make the temporary bike lanes work as best they can for everyone.
These temporary bike lanes are not a long-term solution. We’re planning a study to look at permanent bike lanes for Wellington Crescent in the future. Right now, we’re focused on this temporary project and want to hear how the design will affect you.
