Panet & Dawson to Lagimodière & Dugald proposed improvements – Panet & Dawson intersection

This proposed design would make improvements to each mode’s current experience, but also presents some implications.

Vehicles

• The addition of medians would create space for left turn lanes – including a dedicated left-turn lane from eastbound Marion onto Panet Road – and improve access to local businesses.
• The existing right-turn lane from southbound Dawson Road N to southbound Panet would be removed.
• Left turns from westbound Marion onto southbound Dawson N would no longer be permitted.

Community

• A multi-use path would be added along the south boulevard of Marion to Lagimodière Boulevard.
• A multi-use path would cross the west leg of the Marion-Panet intersection from the south side of Marion onto Panet, and extend northeast to connect to the larger cycling network.
