Panet & Dawson to Lagimodière & Dugald proposed improvements – Marion & Lagimodière intersection

This proposed design would make improvements to each mode’s current experience, but also presents some implications.

Vehicles

• The addition of a right-turn lane onto eastbound Marion and right-turn cut-off to southbound Lagimodière would close Maple Leaf Meats’ eastern most approach.
• A second left-turn lane would be added from northbound Lagimodière to westbound Marion.
• Roadway capacity would be increased with the addition of another northbound lane on Lagimodière from Marion to Dugald Road.

Community

• Property acquisition would be required along the west side of Lagimodière from Marion to Dugald.
• Construct a noise berm and multi-use path along the west side of Lagimodière to dampen traffic noise and to connect to existing sidewalk and cycling networks.
