Council decision - Point Douglas Neighbourhood Plan adopted
On March 26, 2026, Council adopted the Point Douglas Neighbourhood Plan as a secondary plan by-law for Point Douglas. The plan sets out goals and rules for how land can be used and developed in the area.
All development proposals in Point Douglas must follow the plan. This includes requests to rezone or subdivide property—if a proposal doesn’t follow the plan, it can be refused.
