Thank you to everyone who participated in this process.

In January 2026, we hosted five public information sessions to share the recommended policy changes and answer questions from customers, caregivers, and community partners. A summary of the sessions, including attendance and key topics discussed, is available in the Public Information Summary.

Committee meeting

An administrative report will be presented to the Standing Policy Committee on Public Works on Monday, June 29, 2026. The report recommends updates to the following key policies:

  • No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy
  • Eligibility Criteria
  • Carry-on Bag Policy

The meeting will also be streamed live on the City’s YouTube channel.

  • Submitting written comments, or
  • Registering to speak at the meeting

You must register by 12:00 noon on Friday, June 26, 2026 at winnipeg.ca/delegation or call 204‑986‑2974. All submissions become part of the public record, including any personal information provided.
