December 2022 - draft Crescentwood-Enderton Park Heritage Conservation District (HCD) Plan is now complete

The draft Crescentwood-Enderton Park Heritage Conservation District (HCD) Plan is now complete. Thank you to all who participated in public engagement sessions during its development.

On December 14, 2022 at 9:30 a.m., the Historical Buildings and Resources Committee (HBRC) will review the draft HCD Plan and make a recommendation to the Standing Policy Committee on Property and Development (SPC-PD) on whether or not to designate the area as an HCD and if any amendments to the HCD Plan are required. The meeting can be viewed on the City of Winnipeg’s YouTube channel.

While residents cannot address the HRBC on December 14, there will be an opportunity to appear as a delegation when the HCD Plan goes to SPC-PD in the future. Property owners within the proposed district will receive notice of this meeting.

If Crescentwood-Enderton Park is designated as an HCD, certain architecturally and historically significant elements of the area would be conserved. In addition, changes within the district boundaries would be managed according to the HCD plan.

Final Council approval is required before Crescentwood-Enderton Park is designated as a Heritage Conservation District.
