On June 26, 2025, Council adopted Transportation 2050 and The Pedestrian and Cycling Strategies Update as long-range transportation policies for the City of Winnipeg.

Next steps

• Report back to Council with funding strategies for strategies, plans, and studies
• Provide status updates on business cases for pilot projects
• Provide progress reports and a list of prioritized actions
• Consider new staff positions in the 2026 Operating Budget process
