Council decision and next steps

On February 23, 2023, Council amended and approved the proposed regulatory framework for short-term rental accommodations. Section 2A to 2O of Council’s decision includes highlights of the regulatory framework.

The Public Service was directed to report back with amendments to the City’s Zoning By-laws in fall 2023. Once regulations have been adopted by Council, the Public Service has been directed to develop a Short-Term Rental Accommodations handbook which will be available on the City’s website.
