Project begins

The City is reaching out to stakeholders early on before designing options for the lobby. Stakeholder input will help ensure the options address issues and challenges with the current lobby. This includes the layout, sightlines, the screening process, and foot traffic flow.

We are asking stakeholders from the following groups to provide their input as we develop options:

• Downtown organizations
• Library interest groups
• City of Winnipeg and library staff
• Security staff

We expect to finish designing options in spring 2024. We will ask stakeholders for their feedback on the lobby options.
