Council decision

On July 21, Council directed the Public Service to prepare a Zoning By-law Amendment that inserts the Draft Glenwood Planned Development Overlay (PDO) into the Winnipeg Zoning By-law No. 200/2006 to address residential infill-related concerns in the Glenwood Neighbourhood. The Draft Glenwood PDO will reinforce parts of the Small-Scale and Low-Rise Residential Development Guidelines for Mature Communities (Residential Infill Guidelines) in Glenwood, specifically as it relates to the character of houses, privacy, sunlight, landscaping, and trees.

The Riel Community Committee will then hold a public hearing on the Zoning By-law Amendment and submit its recommendations to Council.
