Updated cost estimate and new public engagement summary

On October 6, 2025, the Standing Policy Committee on Community Services received a verbal report from the Public Service. The verbal report outlined an updated cost estimate for the East of the Red Recplex. The new cost estimate is a Class 3 cost estimate (accuracy of -20% to +30%). The cost estimate to construct the new RecPlex in 2028 is $155.5 million.

Council approval and funding is required to start the next stage of design and construction.
