Public engagement summary available

The public engagement summary and appendices are now available and provide an overview of the feedback collected for the project. Public feedback on the need, design, and potential amenities supported the updates to the design and cost estimates from the 2018 Feasibility Study.

The Feasibility Study update will be considered by East Kildonan-Transcona Community Committee on February 24, 2023. If you would like to appear as a delegation, please contact the City Clerk's Department by noon on February 23, 2023.

Project funding will be considered within the City’s annual budget process and is subject to availability of City funding, as well as partnership funding from other levels of government.
